Both children and adults do not go to school partly because of the high cost of school supplies, but also because parents prefer to keep their children at home to help out in the field and with other daily chores. Preventable and treatable diseases present an enormous health burden for communities in Togo and West Africa in general. Health care is neither readily accessible nor affordable for many Togolese living in rural villages. The primary
